Adipurush Collects RS 10 Crore on Day 5, Drops Significantly from Previous Day

Adipurush Day 5 Collection: The big budget mythological film Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, saw a huge drop in box office collections on its fifth day. The film collected ₹10.7 crore on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, which is 33.13% less than the previous day’s collection of ₹16 crore. The total box office collection of the film till date is ₹247.90 crore. It is a good start for the film but it remains to be seen whether it reaches net collection of Rs 300 crore or not. The fate of the film will depend on how it performs in the next few days.

There is a possibility of a drop in the collections due to the mixed reviews of the film. On the fifth day, the occupancy of Adipurush in theaters has come down significantly from the previous days. According to the reports, the occupancy of the film on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 was around 11%. This is a significant drop from the film’s occupancy on Monday, which was around 20%. The occupancy in multiplexes in big cities is around 15-20 per cent. However, occupancy in single-screen theaters in smaller cities is very low, around 5–10%. On the fifth day, the occupancy of Adipurush film was 11% in Hindi and 20% in Telugu.

Despite the decline in occupancy, Adipurush has still been commercially successful. The film has grossed over ₹400 crore worldwide till date. However, the occupancy of the film dropped on the fourth and fifth days, while the film had made a decent collection on the weekend. It’s important to note that these are estimates only, and actual occupancy may vary from theater to theatre.
