Story

The first episode of Secret Invasion, “Resurrection,” is set five years after the Blip. Nick Fury is living a quiet life in a small town in Norway, where he is working as a cobbler. He is visited by Talos, a Skrull who he met during the events of Captain Marvel. Talos tells Fury that he is there to warn him that a faction of Skrulls is planning to invade Earth. Fury is initially skeptical, but he soon begins to investigate the disappearances. He teams up with Talos and a Skrull named Soren to track down the Skrulls who are responsible.

The episode ends with Fury and Talos discovering that the Skrulls have infiltrated high levels of the US government. They also learn that the Skrulls have been planning this invasion for years.
